*As our hides are mainly wild game hides, they will have knife scores, and bullet/broadhead/ skinning holes. They are thinned to minimize the (shallower) knife scores and are trimmed to maximize the customers usable leather value relative to investment money spent.
At Frontier Buckskin we are committed to ensuring that our tanning produce is Select quality, which we define as fully tanned, thinned to minimize knife scores, minimal holes and soft all over. If raw material condition renders it impossible to meet those requirements, the Grade will then be reduced to Grade #1 status. Hides with excessive scores and holes beyond Grade 1 specs will be reduced to smaller pieces without the damage and made available as well.

1 =#1. Soft, minimal scores, 6-11 holes. (Base price - 20%)
Hides with deep scores and more than 12 holes will be trimmed to minimize or eliminate the damage and sold as smaller items.
 
VOLUME
Our volume pricing discounts are set up to calculate at Cart/checkout as follows:
1-4 Items= Listed price
5-9 Items= Listed price less 5%
10-14 Items= Listed price less 10%
15-19 Items= Listed price less 15%
20+ Items=Listed price less 20% (Wholesale bulk order pricing)
